In February 2003 Kristan was given a gel-candle by a friend in Perth (as a belated Christmas present - as the friend didn't want to send it in the mail!), and after having just become engaged, it was decided that Kristan & Scott would make them for their upcoming wedding (in September later that year)...
So, we got some kits, made some really bubbly candles, kept experimenting... and started to get better...
We then made some more for markets & had some success at selling them at the local markets and in a couple of shops.
Our guests all got our little aquarium bowls as their bonbonniere...
